This micro wedding took place in a gorgeous historical mansion in Chicago, Illinois. Their day was one of family togetherness, lush florals, and whimsical yet modern details. After planning to get married in May of 2020 in the backyard of the bride’s childhood home, Laura and Alex decided that a smaller, more intimate wedding would be appropriate amidst the unknown of the pandemic. With a guest count of 17, the couple was able to cater well to their family members at The Armour House, a beautiful Italianate mansion, in the heart of Lake Forest Illinois.
